Appraisal services & logistics

There are no geographical restrictions on who I can appraise. My service is open to any doctor registered with the GMC and holding a licence to practise, whether you're based in the UK or working overseas. This includes consultants, locum doctors, GPs, SAS doctors, and newly qualified doctors approaching their first appraisal.

Appraisals are conducted entirely online, via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet — whichever you prefer. There's no need to travel; you can complete your appraisal from wherever suits you.

All appraisals are conducted using my dedicated online appraisal portal at drtapase.co.uk — a secure, purpose-built platform designed specifically for GMC revalidation appraisals.

The portal is based on the MAG4 appraisal form and covers all required sections. Doctors receive a registration code from me after booking, which they use to create a secure account and complete their appraisal documentation ahead of the meeting.

Every appraisal is grounded in the GMC's Good Medical Practice framework and current revalidation requirements — but the meeting itself is conversational rather than procedural. I particularly enjoy supporting newly qualified doctors who are new to the process, and aim to make every appraisal thorough, useful, and free of unnecessary anxiety.
